Becoming a dragon and setting your life on F.I.R.E. isn’t an easy decision. It takes work, determination, and a willingness to take on short-term pain for long-term gain. But it pays off.

The question, however, is how it pays off. And that, my fellow dragon, is entirely up to you. But to keep up your motivation, and to keep that spark building up into a real, proper F.I.R.E., it is important to set goals, build dreams, and track the progress made towards your ending pay-out.

A journey towards an unknown destination, after all, isn’t a journey. It just means you’re lost. So this section seeks to create a compass, or a line of gasoline (if that’s your preferred imagery) towards the ending inferno of F.I.R.E. This is split into two sections, which can be loosely categorised as follows:

• About You: Posts about goal-setting, keeping motivation, and tracking progress towards F.I.R.E.
• About Me: Posts documenting my progress towards F.I.R.E., because I might as well give you an example and it’ll keep me accountable. Ignore as you will.
